Born and raised in South LA, Monique has been in the construction industry for over 15 years, getting her start in the industry straight out of high school working in the carpenters union. She is now a Licensed Contractor and has a Masters degree in Project Management and in Human Resources. Monique founded C.O.N.C.R.E.T.E. Change to work with the youth of our local communities and provide specialized training and mentorship.

 

In addition to exposing youth to career opportunities in construction, she also owns an L.A. based women's tackle football team, the Los Angeles Legends, which exists to create and foster an environment for female athletes to sustain healthy lifestyles through playing, coaching and participating in American Football at the highest level.
